Since October 2023, over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel. Yet Israel continues to enjoy the benefits of the €45 billion EU Israel Trade Agreement.

It's time to act. We need to scrap the agreement and stand with Palestine.

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry and UN experts report that Israel’s actions in Palestine amount to war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide.

For decades, Palestinians have lived under Israel's illegal military occupation and a system of apartheid. Settler violence and land seizures continue to surge across the West Bank.

In the European Parliament, I have repeatedly called for an immediate end to the EU-Israel Association Agreement.

An agreement which explicitly requires respect for human rights and democracy (Article 2), a requirement Israel has catastrophically failed to meet.

As Ireland currently holds the EU Presidency, we cannot in good conscience preside over a Union that turns a blind eye to this horror and bloodshed.

It’s time to send a clear message. Not on our watch.
